Suggested enquiry

We are developing UniFarm360, a farm-management web and iPhone application. We would like licensed observations and forecasts for farm locations selected by our users, initially Sale, Victoria.

Please advise the appropriate service, permitted display and derived-calculation rights, attribution, costs, refresh limits, supported delivery methods and credentials. We need temperature, humidity, wind and rainfall observations; the longest available daily forecast including minimum/maximum temperature, precipitation amount/range and chance; and longer-range outlooks with their uncertainty and validity periods.

Data would be displayed to authenticated farm members and used to estimate water demand and reserve depletion. We will clearly separate observations, forecasts, derived estimates and simulated data. Please advise whether these uses and future external customers are covered.

What is ready

UniFarm360 has an authenticated, farm-scoped weather snapshot store and a display adapter. An approved server-side importer will retrieve the licensed feed, convert it into UniFarm360’s reading format, and write snapshots. Browser users cannot insert or modify BOM-labelled readings. The interface checks location and reading age and rejects stale data. Daily forecasts retain their supplied horizon; longer-range outlooks remain separate.

Location choices are saved per farm in this browser. Moving the simulated farm does not relocate its actual asset records.
